COVID-19 is already having a huge impact on businesses and the hospitality sector is being hit particularly hard.
As owner, housekeeper and cook, if I’m fit (reasonably…) and well (most definitely) then The Cross at Croscombe stays open for business.
At present, my April supper with Mary Cadogan and my Platters & Prosecco evenings will go ahead as planned. However, the guidance from Public Health England is constantly changing and I will continue to monitor the situation closely.

If you do fancy a change of scene, then I would love to welcome you here for a night away. (Longer stays available at advantageous rates!) The Somerset countryside is a great place to escape to. It provides peace, quiet and an ideal environment in which to think. At times like this it is important to keep things in perspective and focus on the positives.
Please support businesses through these immensely challenging times. Many will struggle to survive. And, if you can, help those more vulnerable than you. A single kind gesture can make an enormous difference at a time like this.
Let’s hope that the coming weeks bring out the best in people and communities.
All the very best.
Terri
